The Santa Cruz County Environmental Health Division lobby is currently open for business by appointment only. You may request an appointment to meet with staff to discuss a matter or with our Administrative Support staff to submit an application and make a payment. To request an appointment either send us an email or call 454-2022. Email is checked regularly during business hours Monday through Friday. We continue to encourage you to use email to conduct business.
For documents that cannot be emailed, there is a secure drop-off box on the first floor of 701 Ocean Street. Look for the drop-off box with a sign labeled ‘Building, Planning, and Environmental Health’. Forms, applications and other information can be found on this website.
Applications can be accepted by emailing the required paperwork to: env.hlth@santacruzcounty.us
Payment of fees can be completed online after you receive an invoice in your email.

Pay by Credit/D ebit Card or E-Check - You must know your Environmental Health Invoice Number to pay by credit/debit card Paying on line does not eliminate the need to return any required signed, original documents. Permits will not be issued until both payment and any required signed documents are submitted.
