Significant Changes in Local Agency Management Program (LAMP) from 2016 Standards
On June 22, 2022, the Santa Cruz County Planning Commission will review and provide recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding amendments to the Santa Cruz County Code Chapter 7.38 (Sewage Disposal) and the General Plan. The LAMP was adopted by the Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board on October 14, 2021, authorizing the County to implement the LAMP immediately. Since implementing the LAMP, County has identified additional changes to the LAMP that are needed for clarity and effectiveness. The revisions can be seen in the items posted below.

On October 14, 2021, the Central Coast Regional Water Quality Control Board (CCRWRCB) approved the Santa Cruz County LAMP. The County Board of Supervisors authorized the submittal of the draft LAMP to the CCRWRCB on August 24, 2021. This draft was revised based on comments received on the June 2021 draft.
