A Certified Farmers Market is a location certified by the County Agricultural Commissioner and permitted as a Certified Farmers Market by Environmental Health, where Certified Farmers can sell locally grown agricultural products they produce directly to the public.
Vending Certified Non-Agricultural Food Products
A Community Event can be operated in conjunction with a Certified Farmers Market to allow the sale of non-agricultural products next to the Certified Farmers Market. A separate Event Organizer Permit is required. Individual non-certified agricultural food vendors must apply for Temporary Food Facility Permitting.
